i like the new do...but you DO look at type odd wearing a suit and tie.. a) it makes you look kinda constricted (wait, tim'm all bound up and fighting to bust out of some tight fitting clothes? this could be good..hehehe) b) you just look weird in a tie to me..but you are a teacher and we do have to wear that "professional drag" to pass muster (appearance wise) in the workplace lord knows im getting a LOT of stares because im growing my hair out and havent' shaved in a month or so....
Interesting the comments one gets about what he or she wears. People seem to take your choice personally. My Aunt, who is 85, likes to tell the story of when she decided to stop straightening her hair (in the 60's) and grow an afro--she actually lost friends!
Tim'm: for your next picture, look into the cam. Your picture gives the impression that you are uncomfortable, anxious (a cutie nevertheless). Is the look a manifestation of those "walls of doubt"? Would nails really help? ;-)
there's a song on Kanye West's "Late Registration" album that goes "wake up, mr. west".... the picture was intended to be a portrait of me, barely awake, introspectively (and perhaps uncomfortably) sorting out the demands of the day. it really isn't that deep, but I guess no one really got the reference to the Kanye West song.
